POWDER COATING
Powder coating is a dry finishing process in which free-flowing powder is applied to a surface, and then heated to 400f which permanently bonds the powder to the metal. Powder coating can provide mind-blowing finishes while also being highly resistant against longing heat exposure or chemical use. Utilizing the Tiger Drylac palette we offer a vast array of colour and texture options, leaving a smooth, or rough surface that can be glossy, matte or even chrome.
With our 24' x 8' x 8' batch oven, we are able to accommodate anything from small railings to pre fabricated mezzanines.

Process
All material is first prepped via wire wheel or blast to ensure optimum profile for powder to be applied. Following an sp3, sp6, or sp10 preparation procedure, a solvent wipe is completed to make certain there are no oils or unwanted residue on material surface. Post prep material is then ready to move onto application of powder and finally baked in the oven.

Application
In order for optimal powder transfer, it is vital for material to be properly ground, and for the powder to have sufficient charge. Prior to every batch a transfer test is completed to ensure equipment is running in optimal condition. Once sprayed, the material is overlooked via LED to ensure optimum quality.

Colour Match
Tiger Drylac powder is leading the industry standard for premium finishes, with a broad colour palette to match your colour needs. Tiger also offers various finishing options such as smooth, textured, gloss, matte, and even chrome. In addition, we can outsource powder if a more niche finish is desired.
